Door Keepers is a mission-focused disciple-making community where we gather together to devote ourselves to God’s calling and mission through discipleship and obedience.
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. – Psalm 84:10
Donʼt you know that you yourselves are Godʼs temple and that Godʼs Spirit dwells in your midst?
If anyone destroys Godʼs temple, God will destroy that person; for Godʼs temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. – 1 Corinthians 3:16–17
Just as this Psalm and 1Corinthians says, we are doorkeepers of God’s house.
We meet on Sundays and Wednesday evenings in Townsville, and pray daily for one another and the ministry of the Word via KakaoTalk group chat. Discovery groups meet regularly throughout the city and in other places we are reaching both in Australia and South Korea.
Gatherings are mainly spoken in Korean, with English translations when needed.
