Meet Steve and Mel …
Steve, Mel and their son Ezra are outdoor loving Aussies based in Townsville, North Queensland. Steve was raised in the western province of PNG as a missionary kid. After returning to Australia, Steve met Mel at a local church. Mel was born and raised in Townsville and had a heart for the nations from a young age.
Once married, Steve (a fitter-machinist) and Mel (a high-school teacher) jumped at a church-planting opportunity with Ron and Paula Turner, which continued to fuel their desire to make disciples. Ezra was born and God continues to call them out to the harvest field as a family across North Queensland.
Steve, Mel and Ezra spend a lot of time on the road. They travel around the region, living in their caravan so they can spend time praying for and connecting with people of peace.
