Des and Lyn support the Melbourne team and Praxeis more broadly, through prayer and encouragement.
They have been part of Blackburn Baptist Church/Crossway since 1977. As Chairman of the Property Board, Des was heavily involved in the church’s relocation to its current Burwood East site. For many years, Des ran a commercial construction company, while Lyn focused on office management.
The Nixons have been part of home groups, community service projects, prayer ministry and many aspects of leadership in the Crossway community.
They have been retired for 2 years and are enjoying the opportunity to travel, serve and contribute to the Praxeis community in Australia and overseas.
