Sue has been involved in ministry for many years and is a strong supporter of missions.
She has a background in human services, leadership and management, as well as social policy. She was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in recognition of this work.
Sue is currently employed as the Professional Standards Officer for the Baptist Churches of Western Australia. In this role, she works within the Church Health team. She has qualifications in Social Work and Theology and is currently completing a Grad Dip in Divinity through the Australian College of Theology.
Sue is currently serving on her local church Board, as well as the Boards of BaptistCare WA, the WA Government Early Years Initiative and the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
