South Australia is proudly Australia’s only free settler established state. It covers some of the most arid parts of the country. Today, it features one of the nation’s highest concentrated populations in and close to its capital city, Adelaide.
With 1.5 million people, Adelaide was once known as the ‘City of Churches’. However it is now one of Australia’s least churched cities with over 35% of its population recently identifying as having ‘no religion’. These days, the city is the nation’s so called ‘Festival City’ famous for its food, wine and sporting culture.
Our work
Our emerging team, led by Jerry and Katie, are engaging in various parts of Adelaide as well as key regional centres such as Victor Harbour. Harvest connections form through prayer walking, community BBQs and existing relationships. Discovery Groups especially among the multicultural and needy northern suburbs of Adelaide are being birthed.
