In the Perth Hills, Kaz has been discipling young mums through The Village, a welcoming mothers’ community where Discovery Groups are naturally emerging.
One mum, Grace, came from a Mormon background. As she discovered God’s Word through Discovery Bible Study, she began following Jesus. She is now reading the Bible with her husband and children and sharing what she is learning with extended family in the USA, creating opportunities for the gospel to spread throughout her wider Mormon family network.
Multiplication is also taking place through Naomi, who first encountered the love of Jesus after local Christians cared for her family during a devastating bushfire. Today, she is growing as a disciple and has started a Discovery Bible Study with friends from her town and as far away as Toodyay. Her story shows how one act of loving care can open the way for disciples to be made—and for those disciples to begin making others.
