This Easter Sunday as we celebrate Jesus‘ resurrection we will stand prophetically at every cardinal point around the nation ( N, S, E, & W) as well as some places of significance around Australia. From sunrise to sunset we will have teams praying, crying out to God for breakthrough in the harvest.
Teams will be travelling North to Thursday Island just above Cape York (QLD), East to Byron Bay (NSW), South to Wilsons Promontory (VIC) in Victoria and West to Steep Point (WA). Teams will also gather to pray in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Central Australia, Darwin, in Perth, Albany and country towns across the nation. In Tassie a team is climbing to a high mountain to pray! Teams in other nations will join in too as we pray for 12 hours.
We (Dave and Colleen) will drive to Steep point to pray at the Western most point of Australia. Facing East we will pray for Australia. Facing West we will pray for the nations of the Indian Ocean rim.
Why are we doing this? Well, because we feel led to pray for our land. As we prayed last year for Australia, we read the story of Jesus going to the ‘other side of the lake’. He was met first by a storm which he stilled, and then by a demoniac which he delivered and healed. It was as he went he saw breakthrough in the face of great opposition. So we felt we needed to ‘go’ to every corner, every significant place that we could…. and pray for spiritual breakthrough. For the harvest.
As the Moravians prayed in their 100 year unbroken prayer chain ‘May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of his suffering!’
